Prints of watercolour paintings of our sponsor hounds, created by one of our volunteers, Katherine Jill Woodman. Jill has a long history of owning Hall Green greyhounds and is a regular volunteer at our Broadmarsh kennels. When not painting, she loves to photograph her hounds and much of her watercolour work is based on these photographs. To see more of her work, visit her website www.katherinewoodman.co.uk
These prints are A4 in size. They are created using a process called Sinterix, which is characterised by extremely high image quality. They are printed at very high resolution and meet the Fine Art Guild standards for light-fastness.
The paper used has a textured surface, which mimics the texture of watercolour paper. They are FSC approved, rated 'acid free' and have non-ageing specification which means they will not degrade under normal archival or storage conditions for at least 300 yrs.
Prints From Hand Painted Watercolour Artist
Although I enjoy painting flowers, still life and animals, my absolute favourite is to paint greyhounds. Having been a greyhound mom for many years now, i find a huge pleasure and satisfaction in bringing their little faces to life in my portraits.
As a volunteer at Greyhound Trust Hall Green, I come into contact with hounds looking for their forever home on a weekly basis. I donate some of my greyhound cards to Hall Green and to other greyhound rescues, to help raise money for this important work.
